Going back to the mid-80's on this post. A friend of mine back then gave me this tape made up of garage sale/thrift store finds. We would occasionally trade similar tapes of found music. It was around this time---I started digging backwards for new musical excitements as not much new put a smile on my ears anymore.
In a few years after this tape...we went our separate ways. Grover went on to Warner Brothers records and now has his own label SLOWDOWN SOUNDS .

Thanks! It's a very cool and somewhat eclectic mix (with, for me, some old favorites plus a bunch of unfamiliar tracks). That same time period, or actually a few
years earlier, was when I myself was, as you say, "digging backwards" and discovering entirely new worlds of sound.
