Remembering Charlie....

 

After hearing the news of the passing of Mr. Watts...I just had to do a small tribute. You see...I cut my baby teeth on The Beatles...but my adult (wisdom teeth) belong to the Stones. I have more material by them ...then any other. Through them...I learned the blues as that is what they were/are deep into. So.. we thank you Charlie for keeping the beat for one of the world's greatest bands...

A couple of weeks ago, I was listening to the radio (88.5 LA via the web) & heard The Stones doing "Shake Your Hips". Made me think for a while to try & figure out who did the original?? Once the smoke cleared & I remembered...it prompted me to search the vault to get this offering that I bought when it came out. A nice collection from Slim...
