Always on the hunt to fill the shelves within <><><> Files here will vary in bitrate (VBR) as that is how I acquired them. My philosophy..better to have lower quality than none at all!

Thank you very much! Now, this may be because it's a small
world or something, but Wayne Raney's "Catfish Baby" is one
of the few 78s that I actually own. (I mean, at this stage,
I probably have 20 or so 78s left in my whole "collection.")
Hmmm... Even a smaller world...I only knew of that song as being covered by Ricky Barnes & the Hoot Owls (Columbus Ohio) back in the '80s. I was excited to finally hear/grab the original version just about a year ago. I could have come to you for the gem!!

Ha -- the plot thickens!
I first listened to Ricky Barnes a few weeks ago, after I'd run into and downloaded
that "Lost Track of Time" album. I was a bit skeptical to begin with, but I ended
up liking it a lot. (The guy certainly did have good taste in choosing songs
to cover.)
