HIGH BID ROCKABILLY !!
Here you go if you are a fan of original rockabilly! Over at John Tefteller's web site is a current auction of original rockabilly 45s & 78s. My compilation from his list includes ONLY the records whose minimum bid is $1000 or greater! Of course three of the Elvis SUN 45s are here...but some other amazing gems are also (see my two favorites pictured below). Roy Orbison's first 45 on JE-WEL is here. Some entries likely show up on the list due to being issued on 78rpm...as that record type was being phased out in the 1950's, making some quite rare.

Grover's Garage Goodies
Going back to the mid-80's on this post. A friend of mine back then gave me this tape made up of garage sale/thrift store finds. We would occasionally trade similar tapes of found music. It was around this time---I started digging backwards for new musical excitements as not much new put a smile on my ears anymore.
In a few years after this tape...we went our separate ways. Grover went on to Warner Brothers records and now has his own label SLOWDOWN SOUNDS .
