Not Related & Waves

After hearing "The Story of My Life" on some comp years ago... I had to pick this cd up. Found out they also did "Cry Cry, Cry" as I had known from The Cynics.

Another great band from Detroit!

From Discogs:

All tracks were recorded between 1966 and 1967 except tracks 14 to 18 which were recorded in the 70's.

Tracks 1, 12 to 18: previously unreleased.
Tracks 2 & 5: previously unreleased version.
Tracks 19 to 21: rehearsals.

The 10th ---as requested

There's been several requests for the 10th & final cd from the Complete box. My copy was damaged BUT a gracious visitor to this blog supplied the needed files. The link was within another comment section...so you had to look to find it. I thought giving it it's own post now eliminates the confusion!

Thanks again to the original uploader!

Out for William !!

A co-worker asked me if I have heard of The 5678's...in which I replied SURE! It was this film that introduced us to them. I was lucky enough to catch them live last year.

This soundtrack...like most of QT's soundtracks is an eclective  mix that help make his movies great.

ebay jukebox Vol. 58 78rpm !!

Vol. 58 of the series that started this blog captures tunes directly from 78s. With that said...some sound quality is lost...but this is adds to the nostalgia from these fragile discs.

For those new to this site...the ebay jukebox series started as I scoured the famous auction site looking for records (recovering record collector here!!) and found some sellers uploading full songs of the records they were selling. I began downloading material that matched my taste. Figured..it was time to share...so here we are!

In this set...check out John Lee & Geechie Smith...two unknowns to me that are now new favorites!

Some Country Blues

This was a thrift-store find years ago. I've been a BIG fan of original country blues for years. Never really posted much here. A good place to start if you're new to the genre.
